Great location, mixed experience overall
- What did you like most?The Ocean View Hotel has an unbeatable location in Santa Monica and Theresa and Jay at check-in were really friendly and welcoming.
- Was there anything you didn't like?That said, we had a frustrating experience booking direct with the hotel, including cancellations of some rooms before arrival. The rooms we booked through Booking.com were much smoother. It was also difficult to get in touch with the sales/staffing manager to resolve the cancellations — I had to follow up three times. Rooms were clean but fairly basic, with fully tiled floors and balconies that felt a bit run down. For the price, the location is great, but if you’re planning to spend a lot of time in the room, you may want to consider other options.
