Located in the historic Rocks district, Sydney Harbor Hotel (formerly Rydges Sydney Harbor) features a rooftop swimming pool offering views of Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbor Bridge. Nice hotel in amazing location, but starting to run down a bit.
- What did you like most?Can't ask for a better location. Rooftop pool area has direct sight lines to the opera house and the bridge. Hotel is located right in the rocks so is walking distance to great restaurants, shops, the bridge climb base, opera house, botanic gardens, and Circular Quay railway/ferry station. Beds are very comfortable. Reasonably good value for money.
- Was there anything you didn't like?Room turn-over involves replacing the soaps and towels, and making your bed, but not doing any other cleaning. Dirt off our shoes from a previous day's hike stayed on the floor for our entire 3 days in residence. When next door showered, you could here the water flowing in the walls. Bathtub in the room had worn-through enamel and the water pressure/temperature controls weren't great. Also, restaurant isn't open 7 days and rooftop pool/lounge area doesn't have a bar or any facilities for ordering food/drink.

- What did you like most?Location is great, room is old but quite nice, bathroom small with very low ceiling. Shuttle from airport was great.
- Was there anything you didn't like?Shower over bath and low ceiling in the small bathrrom, as room was very spacious.
