Excellent hotel - great staff,...
- What did you like most?Excellent location - easy to reach from the airport as the S9 goes right to Savignyplatz which is only a 5-10minute walk away from hotel. Shops close by, along with restaurants, and also close to bus stops and U-Bahn. WiFi is free, easy to connect to, and decent speed. Rooms are clean and spacious and I found the beds very comfy. Plenty of spare pillows/bedding if needed. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They speak English but were also willing to humour my not-so-great German, which I am very grateful for. :) It's not the Ritz, so if you're looking for luxury then this isn't it, but great value for what I paid and had everything I could want and need. Would definitely look to book here again if I come back to Berlin.
- Was there anything you didn't like?Because of the location it can be a little noisy, but this didn't matter too much to me personally, and I expected that considering it's in the middle of shopping district in a capital city. But if you're someone who is a very light sleeper/sensitive to noise than perhaps consider a different part of Berlin. I think my only feedback would be that the luggage room could be a little more secure. We had no issues/nothing stolen, and I'm grateful that we were able to store our luggage after checking out at 11 (as our flight wasn't until 9pm!), but we were able to just walk in and take our luggage without speaking to any staff, which is concerning as if we could do it, there would be nothing stopping someone of the street/someone else in the hotel doing it as well.
